Description : Aerosmith, groupe pop hard rock, est fondé en 1970 à Boston aux Etats-Unis par Steven Tyler, chanteur à l'origine batteur, et Joe Perry, guitariste. Accompagnés du bassiste Tom Hamilton, du guitariste Brad Whitford et du batteur Joey Kramer, les deux Américains enregistrent leur premier album éponyme en 1973. Le succès arrive avec Toys in the attic (1975). En 77, Aerosmith signe Draw the line. Deux ans plus tard, il enregistre Night in the ruts. Joe Perry quitte le groupe et fonde The Joe Perry Project. Jimmy Crespo et Rick Dufay intègrent la formation suite au départ de Brad Whitford. En 85, Aerosmith enregistre Done with mirrors En 86, ils s'associent au groupe de rap Run DMC sur Walk this Way présent sur Toys in the Attic. Ce titre marque le retour du groupe au premier plan. Entouré de songwriters professionnels, il signe en 1987 Permanent Vacation qui contient les hits Dude (Looks Like a Lady) et Angel. S'en suit Pump. En 93, Aerosmith sort Get a grip qui a autant de succès que les deux albums précédents avec les titres Livin' on the Edge, Crying' et Amazing. Nine lives sort en 97 puis le live A Little South Of Sanity. Après quatre ans d'absence, retour fracassant des Américains, avec Just Push Play, une nouvelle galette. En 2002, Aerosmith signe le thème du film Spiderman.
